The collection, transport and handling of all specimen in such a way as to ensure accuracy and quality of results.

The use of examination procedures that will ensure the highest achievable quality of all tests performed.

Reporting results in ways which are timely, confidential, accurate and clinically useful.

The assessment of customer satisfaction, in addition to internal audit and external quality assessment, in order to produce continual quality improvement.

OUR HISTORY

Bonaventure Medical Laboratory (BML) is owned and operated by Medical Technologist, Bonnie Culmer who has over 26yrs of clinical laboratory experience and is a former Clinical Lab Manager for Doctors Hospital Laboratory , Nassau, Bahamas. Ms. Culmer was recently awarded in 2008, by American Medical Technologists (AMT) for her contributions to Medical Technology in the Caribbean Region. She is also a former president of The Caribbean Association of Medical Technologists (CASMET). Along with a team of certified Laboratory Professionals, the staff of BML are among the leaders in their industry, bringing credibility and confidence to Bonaventure Medical Laboratory.

At BML we observe CLIA guidelines of the United States and we are pursuing Accreditation using the ISO 15189:2012 international standards.
